It was an honor to capture Kirsten and Julian’s engagement in Downtown Washington, D.C. The pair celebrated their engagement with a toast at The Smith Restaurant and then headed to explore the National Portrait Gallery.
The couple started out in a long-distance relationship, often meeting at the halfway point in Charlottesville, Virginia. Their first date took place at the cozy and charming Daedalus Used Bookstore in Charlottesville, where they spent the afternoon browsing books together—little did they know, they were also beginning to write a beautiful story of their own. Fast forward two years, and Julian chose the very same bookstore to pop the question and began a new chapter to their love story.
